Ohad Reimer

Ohad has volunteered and worked with extracurricular youth groups since 2003, and has taught them about environmental sustainability using a variety of methods: planting a school garden, encouraging sustainable agriculture, designing eco-buildings, recycling projects, nature walks, and general class discussions and brainstorming about problems in the environment. From 2006-7, Ohad studied environmental education at the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies. Through the Arava Institute, Ohad met Gonen and later, in 2011, joined YEEPI as one of the leaders.  Prior to joining YEEPI, Ohad received his BA in education from Tel Hai College and also completed a “Green Apprenticeship” in mud building and permaculture from Kibbutz Lotan. In addition to working with YEEPI, Ohad is currently teaching at Shita elementary school.
