Amber Hill

Amber Hill,  is a PhD student studying how plants use dew in the desert, in hopes of finding unused water resources around us for more sustainable agriculture. She has been part of many environmental projects especially making community gardens around the world come to life! Studying  her Masters at the Arava Institute of Environmental Studies program of Ben Gurion University, was one of the highlights of her life experiences; living with Arabs and Jews together working on environmental projects was enlightening and transformative for making the world a better place.  Now working with two high schools  in Qasr a Sir, a Bedouin village and in Sde Boker, brings joy and excitement to her life, watching the next generations of leaders learn about their environment and neighbors and working towards peace.
